The Wooden Nickel's popularity in Valdosta is in part due to the philosophy of
'keeping it personal.'
By forging relationships that supercede business as usual, The Wooden Nickel
demonstrates our respect and appreciation of the community in a number of ways.
Most recently, we had the opportunity to assist the Make a Wish Foundation by
donating proceeds from beverage sales to their worthy cause.
We actively support local sports teams, educational institutions (both public and
private), church groups, Moody Air Force Base, senior citizens, and a variety of local
charities.
We were truly appreciative of the kind support offered to us from the Southern
Artists League, whose members provided works of art for our Inner Perimeter
location; just another example of the reciprocal good will practiced in our
community.
